This was our first and biggest project. This was what made Choque’s Construction Company. I remember we started off with just five surveyors and three civil engineers, constructing what is now known as Nigeria’s longest railway line. At that railway line, runs Nigeria’s fastest train, Lagos Express and Nikwe. With the help some of Nigeria’s construction companies we were able to get the work done in a period of 6 months and the railway was able to function a year later. We say this was a big project because we got to work at a town outside South Africa and for that our company was recognised. Plus we were all fresh from University so this was good for our reputation. (March 2009)

Anglo Platinum of Limpopo Mokopane

Early last year, 2nd february 2012 our company was busy with a project at Anglo Platinum mine in Limpopo. We were surveying for mine workers there, first project our company hosted under ground, wich was a good opportunity for us and our workers. It went quite well i must say,for a first time. We were able to surveying everything in two weeks and we were given a period of at least a month. I would like to thank our staff because we couldn’t have done it without them.

Jubaweni Camp of Limpopo

On Tuesday, the 3rd of Semptember 2012, Choque's constructions hosted its first student's experiential learning at Jubaweni Camp, north of limpopo. We had students around South Africa from different Universities, not only those who do surverying but all the courses that relate to construction work. There, they did practicals for a period of two weeks at absolutely no cost. We were able to accomodate 100 student from Universities including University of Johnnesberg, University of Limpopo, University of  Cape town, Tshwane University of Technology, Vaal University of Technology, Wits University. We took the first 100 students who applied and hopefully this year we will take more student. The end results were very exciting and now the company permenantly employed 10 students. We are already planing for this year's camp and hopefully there will be more camps to come.

Surveying at Roordepoot's Ruimsig

Choque's construction is currently busy at Roordepoort Ruimsig at North of  Johnnesberg. It is very challenging yet very exciting because already the project is looking good and promising. The team at Choque Construction is very productive and positive about their work and hopefully we will be done surveying the land in time for the construction workers to start building what is to be Ruimsig's biggest mall.
